Culebra Tours

Culebra Gallery

The beaches and coves from the air and from the sand, the boats that take you there, and what you find under the surface. Every way to reach these waters is listed with the Culebra beach tour.

The first pictures are the shore: the rusting, painted tank at the water's edge on Flamenco Beach, a boat anchored in a shallow green bay, and small coves where white sand meets dark coral patches. Palms and sea grape line the beaches, and green headlands close each bay.

Next come the boats. Power boats and catamarans anchor off white sand, floating mats and paddleboards drift behind them, and a sailing catamaran rides at anchor beside its inflatable. Most frames are taken from the air, which is how you see the colour of the water change over sand and reef.

The last frames are under water and at the surface: snorkelers over clear shallows, a diver above a coral head, green sea turtles grazing and surfacing, and a spotted eagle ray. None of the animals keeps a schedule, so treat each one as a bonus rather than a promise.
